Shed ramp: my garage was starting to get cramped so i decided i needed a shed for the lawn/garden equipment. i thought about building one but bailed and decided to purchase a 10’ x 14’ shed with 6’ wide doors from the nearby amish community. to not be a to.... While your outdoor garage is getting cramped, it’s the time to have a storage shed along with a shed ramp for storing yard tools, gardening supplies, pool chemicals, and other outdoor equipment. but as most permanent storage sheds are placed on a foundation pad or footing, you get a level difference of 9 to 14 inches above the ground.. If you built your own garden shed, chances are pretty good you have the skills to build your own shed ramps. there is a lot of satisfaction in building a shed ramp to go with the shed you built or even with one you bought ready to go.. As some of you know, i've been renovating my back yard, well it was time to add a ramp to my new shed so i can move my 4wheeler and lawn mower in and out. this is a 6ft by 8ft ramp all done with.
