Built this freight elevator in 2002 for our pole barn. works like a charm. many people have asked me about how to construct one so i decided to do this three part video. obviously, this is a use. Just a little contraption my father in law built in his barn, he uses it to store stuff such as lawn equiment in the loft above the barn.. Dec 8, 2012 - an elevator for my 10'x12' storage shed: when the town we live in told me i couldn't replace an old shed with a new, larger one because they had increased our property's setbacks to 20' along the sides and 50' from the water, i was forced to place a much smaller one, closer to our house.
