A dad put his diy skills to the test by building his very own gin bar in his garden.. dan pearce thought hard about what he wanted to do with the garden shed. the artist called a family meeting with his two boys and wife wendy who either wanted a gaming room or a place to exercise.. Welcome to the old calf shed, shed 1 gin distillery and visitor centre.we’re situated on the outskirts of the lake district, in the lovely market town of ulverston, cumbria.who are we? husband and wife team, andy and zoe arnold-bennett. we launched shed 1 distillery in october, 2016, from our 7×7 foot garden shed.. Ms samways had purchased a tired and weathered horse box with an ambition to convert it into a travelling 1920's styled boutique gin bar, perfect for summer festivals and events. the wood shed.
